A report coming out of this weekends Oppikoppi music festival is that South African punk-rock band Fokofpolisiekar will open a bar in Pretoria.

The band is no stranger to the liquor industry. In 2014 they launched their own range of craft ales and a lager a year later. And although Fokof is not the only local musicians to venture successfully into the booze world, notably Jack Parow with his brandy, they will be the first to open their own bar.

Francois Van Coke confirmed that construction on the Fokof Bar is already underway and will open in Pretoria soon.
