Food, wine and Jamiroquai

Date: 5 & 6 October.

Along with great food and wine, the Delicious Food and Music Festival will feature artists including Jamiroquai, Mi Casa, Khuli Chana and Lira.

South Africa’s first international food and music festival will feature renowned UK celebrity chefs Aldo Zilli, Ed Baines and John Burton Race at their own pop-up restaurants.

Zilli is an award-winning celebrity chef and restaurateur who specialises in Italian, vegetarian and seafood cuisine.

Baines is the chef and co-owner of Randall & Aubin, a champagne and oyster bar in Soho, London. His television programmes include Lunch with Ed Baines and ITV’s Ed Baines Entertains.

Although there will be an artisan food market, the pop-up restaurants will be taking bookings for lunch and dinner sittings and have limited seats available. Award winning house band Mi Casa, whose latest album Su Casa débuted at number one on iTunes on the day of its release says they are stoked for the Delicious Festival and being around Virtual Insanity band Jamiroquai.

Jamiroquai, led by Jay Kay, is currently recording their eighth studio album and has promised to treat fans at Delicious to some of their newer, unreleased material.

Reservations for the VIP hospitality experience at the pop-up restaurants can be made for lunch and/or dinner at a cost of R1 850 per head, which includes parking with concierge care, access to the VIP lounge, a welcome drink, a three course meal in one of the three international restaurants of your choice, a bottle of wine and coffee.

The festival takes place at the Blue Hills Equestrian Estate in Kyalami, Johannesburg from October 5 to 6 2013.
