The latest global trend to capture the book consumer’s attention is BookCrossing. This is defined as ‘The practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise’.

What a fascinating and catchy concept. And the best part is that it encourages reading and makes it fun.

Inspired by the upcoming Literary Festival the team at the Franschhoek Wine Valley offices have embraced this concept with open arms and will be establishing their own BookCrossing Zone at the Information Office. The perfect drop off spot!

All books collected will receive a branded Franschhoek label and registered online, helping them to track their journey.
