Bid farewell to the dark, cold days of Winter and celebrate the start of Spring in the Winelands. This year’s Franschhoek Uncorked Festival, takes place over the weekend of 27 and 28 September.

Wineries throughout the valley will be teaming up and show casing their latest releases, allowing patrons to taste wines for free in Franschhoek for the whole weekend. Anthonij Rupert Wine Estate will be participating in the festival with their own unique offering. To start, there is L’Ormarins Brut Classique to taste accompanied by an all day Oyster Bar with a selection of delicious salsas and toppings. Sip, sample and savour the full Protea range which consist of seven lifestyle wines. On the food scene, look forward to mouth-watering slow roasted lamb sandwiches and traditional Panini’s filled with Italian Charcuterie and Artisanal cheese.
