Spreadable Gin or Gin and Tonic marmalade give a whole new meaning to a boozy breakfast. 

The $14 jars are being sold by London retailer Firebox and are made using real artisanal gin, sugar, lemon, water and quinine extract, the flavouring frequently found in tonic water. This buzzy spread won’t get you buzzed, though, as most of the booze is already cooked off. 

Locally, the gin-infused marmalade is available at The Gin Box and retails for R65.
