Rietvallei Wine Estate has received their fifth gold medal this year!
At the recent Sommelier Wine Awards, the multi award-winning Rietvallei JMB Cabernet Franc 2014 received yet another gold medal. The Rietvallei Estéanna Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot 2016 also performed very well and received a silver medal.
The Sommelier Wine Awards is the UK’s only on-trade wine competition and is considered a prestigious competition all around the world. The competition is in its 14th year and celebrates an impressive judging panel of Master Sommeliers and Masters of Wine.
Both the Rietvallei JMB Cabernet Franc and Rietvallei Estéanna Red blend are full-bodied, complex wines with excellent fruit and wood integration, complemented by toasty oak flavours from the 24-month maturation in French oak barrels.
