Gordon Ramsay Serves Up A £80 Hamburger At His New Restaurant At Harrods In London

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay will be selling at £80 hamburger at his new restaurant, set to open at Harrods in London this December.

Discussing the new restaurant opening in an Instagram video, he said he is excited to announce that he is bringing the Gordon Ramsay Burger to Harrods in Knightsbridge for the first time.

“Trust me, this is going to be a burger experience like no other as we’ve really elevated our patties using the most incredible mix of the UK’s best cuts of meat,” said Ramsay.

The most expensive burger on the menu will set you back £80 (R1600). The hamburger burger comes with a beef patty with seared wagyu sirloin, truffle Pecorino cheese, cep mayonnaise, and additional black truffle.

People have complained on Twitter that the price tag is far too high for a burger, with many labelling it “ridiculous” and “absurd”.

It’s not the first time that Ramsay has made headlines for the price tags at his restaurants. In October, the chef was ridiculed online for selling fish and chips for £18.50 (R350) at his restaurant in London House.
