Gwyneth Paltrow Creates A Quinoa Whiskey Cocktail During Lockdown

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow claims to have gone off the rails during the lockdown, hitting the bottle every night of the week and eating herself into a coma, just like the rest of us. The queen of healthy living came up with her own cocktail called the “Buster Paltrow”, which is made from quinoa whiskey.

I drank alcohol during quarantine. I was drinking seven nights a week and making pasta and eating bread. I went totally off the rails. I mean, who drinks multiple drinks seven nights a week? Like that’s not healthy. I love whiskey and I make this fantastic drink called the Buster Paltrow, which I named after my grandfather who loved whiskey sours. And it’s this great quinoa whiskey from this distillery in Tennessee with maple syrup and lemon juice. It’s just heaven. I would have two of those every night of quarantine.

How to make a Buster Paltrow Cocktail

Shake things up at home like Gwyneth Paltrow with this easy Whiskey Sour recipe.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Corsair Quinoa Whiskey (or Jack Daniels)
  • 15ml Maple Syrup (or honey)
  • 30 ml Lemon juice
  • Maraschino cherry

Instructions

Combine the whiskey, lemon juice, and syrup. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice and fill two-thirds full with the cocktail mixture. Shake for 30 seconds and pour into glasses. Add a maraschino cherry and serve ice cold.
