Haskell Vineyards is proud once again to be a foundation supporter of the Cape Wine Auction, an charity occasion that has quickly morphed into one of the South African wine industry’s most prestigious events.

2015 saw record sales for the auction, with the total amount raised hitting 10.5 Million Rand.

The Haskell lot, consisting of the first ever barrel from Hades Vineyard ( Syrah), a weekend at The Residence and four tickets to the Haskell Rare and Distinguished dinner and tasting in September, hit R140 000, more than double what our lot achieved last year.

All up, it was a brilliant day, superbly executed and run, with the end result being a lot of funds that are now available for the uplift and education of disadvantaged South Africans. Loking forward to next year already!
