Haute Cabrière Adds A Pinot Noir Rosé To Its Wine Portfolio

Franschhoek-based winery, Haute Cabrière has launched its maiden Pinot Noir Rosé just in time for the upcoming Summer Season. Haute Cabrière, with its iconic setting on the scenic Franschhoek Pass, has been specialising in wines produced from the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varietals since the brand’s inception in the early 1990s.

We are very passionate about Pinot Noir and this year’s harvest has resulted in the creation of this fabulous addition to the Haute Cabrière portfolio” says second-generation Cellar Master Takuan von Arnim about the natural progression in his decision to create a Pinot Noir Rosé.

Only the best Pinot Noir grapes were selected to produce the Haute Cabrière Pinot Noir Rosé 2019. Grapes were harvested with full-fruit in mind, so one can expect an elegant, dry rosé on the palate with strawberries and rose petals on the nose.

The elegance and structure of this wine is evident in each sip” continues von Arnim.

This rosé is best served chilled, pairs particularly well with salmon, oysters and sushi, or simply on its own – it is the perfect addition to lunch on a glorious summer afternoon.

The Haute Cabrière Pinot Noir Rosé 2019 retails at R79; available online, from the tasting room and selected fine wine retailers nationwide.

The Haute Cabrière Tasting Room is situated on the Franschhoek Pass (Lambrecht’s Road), Franschhoek. The Tasting Room, as well as the Haute Cabrière Restaurant, are currently undergoing an exciting renovation and both will reopen in this October.
