FOOD AND WINE PAIRING

The hotel’s Executive Chef and Winemaker team up to produce a lavish fine dining experience, where the food is paired with the Estate’s wines.

Menus start from:

Dining in the hotel’s restaurant from R500 per person for a 4 course menu including the tasting wine, with a 10% service fee.
OR
Dining in the wine cellar from R800 per person for a 4 course menu including the tasting wine, with a 10% service fee.

2. CHOCOLATE AND WINE PAIRING WITH A CELLAR TOUR

The Lanzerac Estate is home to a fully working Winery, where we produce and bottle Our own wine. We are able to offer the group a chocolate and wine pairing, where our Tasting Room Manager pairs 5 wines with 5 chocolates. The group can then explore the Cellar on a guided tour to understand more on the production of wine. The cost of this pairing and tour is R155 per person.

3. DINNER IN THE OLD MANOR HOUSE

The Manor House forms the heart of the hotel and is an iconic building in Stellenbosch, being a National Monument built in 1830. We have 2 dining rooms in the Manor House which could accommodate your group on a private basis. Exclusivity of the dining room is R4500, which would include:

  • Venue hire on a private basis.
  • A solid Yellowwood table with seating for up to 23 guests.
  • Staff to assist with set up and to break up after function.
  • Cutlery, crockery, glassware and basic linen.

We can assist with additional décor at an additional cost i.e. flowers, candles, coloured under plates (should you wish to bring your corporate colours into the décor) etc.

Lanzerac Hotel

You have the choice of different menu options, starting from R350 per person for a 3 course dinner, with a 10% service fee. There are also a number of different entertainment options, from local African marimba bands, classical live, contemporary live or a DJ.

4. DINNER IN THE GOVERNORS HALL RESTAURANT

Groups are welcome to dine in the hotel’s main dining area, the Governors Hall Restaurant on a non-private basis. Here we are able to offer our ‘Set Menu Gourmet Option’ which gives the group a choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts. This menu will be offered at R300 per person, with a 10% service fee.

5. LOCAL BRAAI IN THE HOTEL’S OUTDOOR COURTYARD AREA

Gourmet BBQ’s are available as an option for all groups, and act as a wonderful welcome to your international delegates. Our menus start from R350 per person, with a 10% service fee. Here we can bring in local South African entertainment such as fire dancing, gum boot dancing, marimba and local décor i.e. ‘African Chic’. Décor and entertainment at an additional cost and aligned to the budget received.

6. THE CONFERENCE RELAXER SPA TEAZER

Add a spa component into your conference package; a spa teaser package including a 5 min Dr. Fish Treatment and a 30 minute treatment. Choose from: Hair and scalp massage; Express manicure; Express pedicure; Foot & leg massage; Taster facial; Back, neck and shoulder massage. Prices range from R180 to R400 per treatment chosen.
