Indulge in Delicious Little Things at the Cellar Restaurant at Haute Cabriere

One restaurant that you never refuse an invite from, is the Cellar Restaurant at Haute Cabriere in Franschhoek. From the estate’s impeccable wines and Cap Classiques, to the magnificent view over the valley that soothes away the harshness of a summery afternoon, the food of Chef Ryan Shell is definitely a treat for the senses.

The Cellar Restaurant has just introduced a new Delicious Little Things menu, which promises to delight you, just as it always has, but in so many new ways. The snack-style menu is designed to nibble on while sipping on a glass of Cap Classique. A great way to get a grip on between-meal hunger!

The new Delicious Little Things menu is served on the terrace every afternoon from 15h00. From moreish nibbles such as crunchy sweet potato chips, rich smoked salmon mousse, Caesar salad and zesty marinated olives, to more substantial eats like Wagyu sliders, pork and apple sosaties, biltong pâté and salt and pepper squid – all as heavenly as the view over the Franschhoek valley below.

The platters of local artisanal cheese and charcuterie are perfect for sharing, while sweets such as chocolate brownies and jam doughnuts will satisfy those with a sweet tooth. With the estate wines, all available by the glass, every element works in perfect harmony to create an experience that will linger on for a long time to come!

Haute Cabrière Cellar Restaurant is open for lunch from 12h00 to 15h00 Tuesday to Sunday; and dinner from 19h00 to 21h00 Tuesday to Saturday. The Delicious Little Things menu is served on the terrace from 15h00 – 19h00 Tuesday to Saturday.
