Here at Creation there’s never a dull moment and this past week has been especially hectic and exciting. Hectic, since the inspired members of our Culinary Team have been busy preparing true magic for Heritage Weekend.  And exciting as we have been the recipients of two prestigious accolades.

The first distinction is being recognised as one of three honourees in the Innovation category of the 2020 Wine and Food Tourism Awards.

The second feather in our cap is having our 2018 Creation Art of Pinot Noir placed among the Top Five at the inaugural Mosaic Pinot Noir Awards. Needless to say, we are over the moon. And that’s not all: this past Sunday we had one of our first virtual parties with the Joburg Wine Club and KayaFM – and what fun it was!    

Spreading Creation Magic

At the recently held 2020 Wine & Food Tourism Awards, Creation Wines was recognised for the second time as one of the top three honourees in the Innovation category. The awards were established in 2019 to inspire and promote local wine, food and hospitality in a variety of categories. In entering, we submitted our virtual ‘Spreading Creation Magic’ campaign, an initiative designed to mitigate the restrictions imposed by Covid-19 regulations. Creation Art of Pinot Noir among Mosaic Top 5 

Convened by Top Five Trust in conjunction with the South African Pinot Noir Association, the Mosaic Top 5 Pinot Noir Wine Awards identify five wines to serve as a benchmark for the development of distinctive South African Pinot Noir wines. Creation is proud indeed to have its 2018 Art of Pinot Noir among these.  Click here to read more. 

Groovin’ with Joburg Wine Club and KayaFM

If there’s gorgeous wine, gourmet snacks, great music and some good friends to share it all with, what could possibly be wrong with groovin’ on the eve of Lockdown Level 1? Which is exactly what we did on Sunday, 20 September during What’s Wrong with Groovin’: A Virtual Wine Experience! This first-of-its-kind party saw a few Joburg Wine Club regulars gathering while other wine tribe members joined in on the fun from all corners of South Africa, via Zoom and Instagram.
