The team at Jordan are thrilled that two of our newest wines, to the Jordan wine selection: Jordan MCC Blanc de Blancs 2015 & our Insiders Cabernet Franc 2018 (exclusively for our Wine Club members) were awarded 5 stars by the Platter’s by Diners Club South African 2021 Wine Guide, and let’s not forget, our iconic Nine Yards Chardonnay 2019, which continues to go the whole nine yards was also awarded 5 stars!
We caught up with Kathy and Gary Jordan and winemaker Sjaak Nelson regarding these exceptional wines.
Jordan Nine Yards Chardonnay 2019

Jordan Blanc de Blanc Méthode Cap Classique 2015
“The 2015 Jordan Blanc de Blancs Méthode Cap Classique is an exceptional wine from an exceptional vintage. In its youth, the 2015 vintage showed a wonderful elegance and complexity, making it the perfect vintage for us to reserve some of the bottling for longer aging on the lees, a total of 54 months. This late disgorged wine expresses both the finesse and character of Jordan Chardonnay, for which the estate is so well known, as well as the richness and balance of the 2015 vintage.” Kathy Jordan
Insiders Cabernet Franc 2018
“The Jordan Cabernet Franc was discovered one late Friday afternoon on an expedition through the red wines cellar looking for a pot of silver but stumbling upon a pot of gold! .
This cabernet franc is the ultimate expression of what Jordan terroir driven cabernet franc should taste like: black and red fruits, with a hint of candy floss, full mouthfeel with all the fruit from the nose pulling through onto the pallet an elegant finish.
With the production of only 912 bottles, it was decided that this small batch of cabernet franc should be sold exclusively to our loyal Insiders Wine Club members.” Sjaak Nelson
