2. Picnic in your own picnic pod
Our new spring picnics have been launched!
There is no better way to spend an afternoon than relaxing in a lush, open-aired, semi-private picnic pod with exquisite views of the Stellenbosch Valley. Once you have booked your pod, the area will be exclusively yours for the remainder of the afternoon! This will allow you to rest at ease and enjoy hours of drinking great wines, eating gourmet picnic food in the fresh air and idyllic settings.
Chef Thys Esterhuysen from The Bakery has created a gorgeous selection of locally sourced soft and hard cheeses, charcuterie and freshly baked breads for the baskets, served with homemade preserves and chutneys. The basket also includes a gourmet quiche, stone fruit salad, and more. The kids will also be happy with their own yummy picnic basket which includes a tube of bubbles to keep them occupied while running barefoot on the lawns.

3. Enjoy award-winning wines on the deck
Select one of our specially curated wine tastings and let one of our knowledgeable wine ambassadors guide you through our diverse range of wines, taking you on a journey of terroir, geology and winemaking.
Short ‘n Sweet – R55 per person. Perfect for a quick tasting before a lunch booking, this option includes any 3 wines from our Estate range.
Terroir Tasting – R90 per person. Sample any 5 wines from the Jordan Estate range and learn all about the Jordan terroir and what makes us so unique by nature’s design.
Reserve Tasting – R295 per person. Taste 4 wines from our Reserve range including the Jordan Blancs de Blanc Méthode Cap Classique, Nine Yards Chardonnay, Cobblers Hill Bordeaux Blend and the Sophia. All these wines will be served is specially selected Riedel glasses.

4. Spot a chameleon during a walk on lawns
Breathe in the fresh Winelands air and take in the spectacular views of the Stellenbosch Valley with a leisurely stroll around our dam. Meet our resident raft of ducks and geese with their new hatchlings. You may even be lucky to spot a chameleon! These beautiful creatures, after which we named our Chameleon range of wines, can be found hiding in the green shrubbery surrounding the estate.
5. Mountain bike on our trails
Snake your way up through the vineyards on our endless single track. In association with the Bottelary Hills Mountain Bike trail you will have the fortune of witnessing some of the best views of the False and Table Bays. Complete your ride back down at The Bakery with a freshly brewed cup of Black Magic coffee and a well-deserved pastry. Day passes available from The Bakery for just R60 per day. 6. Tour of the Jordan cellar
Let one of our knowledgeable wine ambassadors take you through the Jordan cellar on a guided tour where they will explain the wine making process and tell what makes Jordan so unique. The cellar is a fusion of Old and New World architectural ideas, with our new clay Amphoras proudly on display which combines an age old winemaking techniques in a modern day winery!

7. Dine at The Restaurant at Jordan with Chef George Jardine
Indulge in a lavish lunch or dinner at The Restaurant at Jordan with Chef George Jardine and his incredible team. Now in its eleventh year of operation, The Restaurant was one of the first signature chef restaurants in the Winelands!
Why not book our amazing Wine, Dine & Stay special and stay at the Jordan Luxury Suites, which is just a short 5-minute stroll from The Restaurant. From the 10th September, The Restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and for lunch on Sundays.
