Jordan wines perform well in Tim Atkin and Neal Martin Reports

The Tim Atkin and Neal Martin 2018 results have been announced with the Jordan wines once again having done exceptionally well.

The 2018 South Africa Special Report by British Master of Wine, Tim Atkin was released today with Jordan Wine Estate achieving great success. Nine different wines scoring more than 90 points – this is an accolade of which to be proud.

The wines also fared exceptionally well with wine writer and critic Neal Martin with the Jordan Nine Yards Chardonnay 2016 receiving 92 points. ‘I reiterate my claim that no country, no wine region has been as dynamic, progressive or indeed, as exciting as South Africa.’ says Neal Martin in his South Africa Report 2018.

Gary Jordan, owner and winemaker of Jordan Wine Estate was thrilled with the results commenting that, ‘It is great to see Jordan Wine Estate’s site-specific wines taken seriously. Winemakers come and go over generations – what you have left is the terroir, where the sense of place is more important than what we do in the cellar’.
