KoRn is the latest metal band to launch their own coffee range

KoRn have launched their own brand of coffee called Korn Koffee, inspired by their need for caffeine on long tours.

The metal band posted a video on their Facebook account explaining the inspiration behind Korn Koffee. Guitarist James ‘Munky’ Shaffer said: “The Korn Koffee idea pretty much came up because we drink so much coffee on the road when we’re touring it’s good to have something to really kick you in the pants in the morning.”

The band members worked closely with J Gursey Coffee to create the fair-trade certified blend of Ethiopian, Guatemalan, and Peruvian beans.

This isn’t the first metal-caffeine collaboration. David Ellefson, bassist and co-founding member of Megadeth has his coffee business Ellefson Coffee Co. and Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante has found success with his Benante’s Blend. Sadly, Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer’s Rockin’ & Roastin’ cafes closed in 2017.
