Lanzerac Blanc de Blancs Brut, an MCC for any occasion

The latest offering to emerge from Lanzerac Wine Estate will most certainly be music to the ears of bubbly aficionados. The maiden vintage Lanzerac Blanc de Blancs Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) is perfect for any occasion – be it a birthday, romantic dinner with a loved on or simply a social tipple, this MCC is guaranteed to impress.

Released in December 2014, the MCC is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, and displays typical fresh citrus and lime flavours on the nose, supported by a biscuit, yeasty undercurrent on the palate. An array of fine precise bubbles on the mousse completes this MCC.

The non-vintage MCC, which was made from the 2013 harvest, has been described by an influential wine journalist as the most elegant vintage of the millennium thus far. The perfect wine to sip, sample and savour also works well with a pear and Parmesan salad, freshly baked bread served with Egyptian Dukkha and believe it or not, but also with fried mushrooms.

Currently only available from the Tasting Room at R220 per bottle, and Lanzerac Heritage Wine Club members will receive a further discount of 20% when ordering. Membership to the Lanzerac Heritage Wine Club is free with exclusive offerings available to members only.
