With the backing of the Elemis Spa of the Year Award, the Lanzerac Spa is certainly establishing itself as a leader in health and wellness on the Stellenbosch Wine Route.
The Elemis Spa of the Year Award aims to recognize and honour Elemis clients for their support and loyalty over the past year. This ceremony aims to reward the country-wide range of clients and make them feel more part of the Elemis brand. Lanzerac Spa made it on the list.
There are 3 different awards that are given out across Gauteng, Kwa-Zulu Natal and the Western Cape:
Spa of the Year – This strives to recognize the Spa or Salon with the highest Elemis sales across the last year (both retail and professional treatments). Another criterion for this award is training attendance from the Spa Therapists. Elemis hosts many different training sessions throughout the year and encourage all of the Spas and Salons to take the opportunity and send their staff to learn more about the Elemis brand, treatments, as well as to improve retail skills. Lastly, the general support of the Elemis brand is recognized, where Spas share great ideas for events and brand awareness initiatives that would make themselves and the Elemis brand shine.

Most Improved Spa of the Year – This award recognizes the Spa or Salon that has shown a drastic improvement in both sales and treatments booked over the last year. Elemis feels that recognition should be given when it is clear that a tremendous effort has been made to boost support of the Elemis brand. Training attendance is also a criterion for this award, as it does aid in the improved performance of the Spa.

Therapist of the Year – This award is a very special award and recognizes the Spa Therapist that has gone above and beyond to support the Elemis brand. Retail sales are definitely a key criterion for this award, as is the turnover of treatments to retail sales. They look for Therapists who don’t only provide an amazing Elemis experience through their treatments, but one who can also sell Elemis to their clients afterwards, making the experience last longer and creating yet another Elemis customer into the future.
