Sometimes us wine people are way to serious about wine. I mean this wine with that food, this brand over that brand, terroir, blah blah blah. At the end of the day wine is all about fun. And if you went to the Gugs Wine festival this weekend you would have found barrels full of fun. At some festivals you get a piano player all very serious and formal you know, some people even wear bowties for heavens sake old chap! Not at the Gugs fest, this was about fun… think DJ and lots of sexy skimpy dressed locals having a blast. This is a wine festival with a difference, and if you missed it, shame on you. A well organised, well run wine festival, everyone associated with the festival take a bow. My only complaint? It ended to early! The party could have carried on way into the night
