London Bakery Offers Magic-Inspired Afternoon Tea For Harry Potter Fans

London bakery Cutter & Squidge has launched a magic-inspired afternoon tea program called Potions Class which takes place at their “secret School of Wizarding Alchemy.”

During the 2 1/2 hour potions class, wizarding students will enjoy a traditional afternoon tea accompanied by edible and drinkable potions they’ll create themselves under the direction of a “potion master”.

The decor for the wizardry school has been created by one of the designers behind Harry Potter’s studio tour, but Cutter & Squidge are quick to point out the afternoon tea is not affiliated with Harry Potter.

The class kicks off with students learning how to create Galaxy Juice, a welcome drink with hints of passion fruit, hibiscus and unicorn tear tea. Next up, students will each receive their own cauldron to whiz up Hubble Bubble, a lemon-flavored potion. After working up an appetite at Potion School, students are treated to a 7-course afternoon tea topped off with Cutter & Squidge’s signature biskie – a biscuit, cookie and cake hybrid.

The tea also has gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free and wheat-free options. Tickets are £39.50 for kids 8-12 and £49.50 for adults.
