Ingredients:
Dough:
- 3/4C milk, heated to 115°F
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp and 1/4C granulated sugar, divided
- 2 1/2C all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp shortening
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
Icing:
- 2C powdered sugar
- 1/4C pure maple syrup
- 2-3 Tbsp water
- 8-10 slices bacon, cooked and roughly chopped *see notes
