Metamorphosis at Creation

Having emerged from their lockdown cocoons on Monday this week, essential members of the Creation team started preparing for the next stage of what co-owner Carolyn Martin has termed the ‘Creation Metamorphosis’.

Delighted to be together again, albeit it at the prescribed arm’s length – strictly no hugging! – we sat in our beautiful fynbos garden soaking up the last of the autumn sun.

On the agenda was how to create an exciting virtual journey by reaching out and bringing Creation into our clients’ homes. For those living closer to us, we discussed the logistics of delivering a special Creation pairing package including a bottle of wine matched with a recipe from our culinary team. The latter will obviously only come to fruition once the local ban on alcohol has been lifted – but do watch this space!

More treats in store from Creation is Janko de Beer’s sculpture exhibition aptly titled ‘Metamorphosis’ which we’ll be installing next week. His exhibition was planned long before the Covid-19 lockdown happened and we look forward to sharing it with you on a virtual platform.

Creation has always been in harmony with nature and this year we will be closer than ever. JC will be taking the team into the vineyards to prune as soon as the leaves have dropped. How exciting that some of us will be learning to prune for the very first time.

With 10 May being Mother’s Day we at Creation would like to convey our appreciation for, and heartfelt wishes to all mothers, everywhere. We greatly honour this celebration of motherhood, thanking them for all their love, dedication and encouragement. Why not surprise your mom with a special Creation gift card so she can select her favourite Creation wine or experience, post lockdown? We look forward to spoiling her on your behalf.

You are welcome to discuss this with your Creation Personal Shopper – simply click on the image below for more information. We once again thank all our clients, the community as well as the journalists supporting us with their great ideas, connecting to us and helping us with contacts during lockdown. Thank you for backing the community feeding projects in which we are involved. Thank you for your government lobbying to get the ban on wine exports lifted. Now we’re just waiting for e-commerce to be unbanned in South Africa so we can get your wine to you!
