What’s your favourite Waterkloof wine?
I love the Circumstance Syrah 2009. The wine is very elegant, smooth and for me très feminine. 2009 is such a special vintage for me as it was our first vintage completed in the new cellar. Completing a vintage in a cellar which is still being built was the biggest challenge which I have had to face in the my years in the industry.
If you had to be a wine, what variety will you be?

I would be a really well built guy and do kayaking around the African Continent and overnight on the islands with a nice fire.
