Napa Valley is Running a Christmas-Themed Wine Train to the North Pole

Dreaming about travelling to the North Pole for the holidays? Your dream can now come true, but you’ll have to get to the Napa Valley first.

The Napa Valley’s famed Wine Train is bringing back its yearly Santa Train, a one-and-a-half-hour journey that ferries passengers to the tip of the northern hemisphere—in this case, a decked-out Yountville train station doubling as Santa’s workshop.

The train takes rides through vineyards on its way and all passengers can take part in festive Christmas carols, snack on cookies and hot cocoa. Vinos can crack open some wine. This family-friendly event also allows children, who can spend their train ride writing letters to Santa.

The train rides from November 18 to December 29, with tickets starting at $39.
