Beginning March to the 10th , the Neethlingshof wine estate near Stellenbosch will be home to some of the country’s foremost Afrikaans music performers.
During the US Woordfees Neethlingshof will be one of the host venues as part of the Sanlam Musiekfees programme. An open-air stage will be created for evening performances by the likes of Die Melktert Kommisie, Karen Zoid, Elvis Blue, Heinz Winckler, Fokofpolisiekar, Bobby van Jaarsveld and Jan Blohm. You can fist-pump, sing and dance your way into the evening or browse through the food stalls close by and order a refreshing glass of Neethlingshof wine from the cash bar on the site.
Tickets are R90 per person and R60 for children under the age of 12. You can purchase tickets as well as pre-book a picnic basket at Computicket. Picnic baskets include a meal offering with a selection of cured meats, artisanal cheeses, olives, oven-fresh breadand a bottle of Neethlingshof wine. Picnic baskets are R200 for two people and R380 for four. Bookings for baskets exclude ticket purchases
Guests are advised to bring their own blankets and chairs.
