The Rietvallei Estate Estéanna wines are very close to winemaker, Kobus’s heart.  It is named after his two daughters, Esté and Annie.

Rietvallei Estéanna Red 2015
Rietvallei Estéanna 2015 is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. The wine is deep, ruby red in colour with expressive cherry and cassis aromas on the nose. On the palate, the cherry flavours persist with just a hint of vanilla and cedar and a good lift of acidity. This wine will pair beautifully with rare roast beef or lamb and with more complex dishes of feathered game.

Rietvallei Estéanna White 2017
Rietvallei Estéanna 2017 is a blend of 45% Chardonnay, 30% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Chenin Blanc. The wine has forthcoming aromas of green fig and melon, which follow through onto the palate. It shows a crisp acidity and yet has a satisfying creamy weight from the partial barrel fermentation. Barbecued Rack of Lamb will go perfectly with the Estéanna White.
