New Wine Bar, Culture, To Open On Bree Street

Wine. More than just a drink, it’s a culture.

That is the inspiration and ethos behind the latest venture by Matt Manning, Chef Patron at Grub & Vine/The Chef’s Studio. Yes, it is crazy to start an entirely new venture in a post-pandemic recession – but then again, Matt has never been afraid of a challenge!

Together with wine maestro Chris Groenewald, Matt plans on shaking up Bree Street with the launch of the new wine bar, Culture, which will officially open its doors to the public on Friday 30 October 2020. The bar, which is adjacent to Grub & Vine and shares the same address and entrance (103 Bree Street), is the perfect spot for after-work drinks, a Friday night celebration with friends, or a post-dinner nightcap.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A collaborative venture by Chef Matt Manning and Chris Groenewald, Culture Wine Bar will offer a curated selection of fine wines from the country’s most respected names, cult classics, hidden gems, natural wines, and special imports from across the globe. 

Naturally, food and wine go hand in hand, Matt has crafted a drool-worthy snack menu to tantalize the taste buds.
