The WINKpen is a glass-case worthy pen with a specially designed interior that lets it work with any liquid. What sets it apart from everything else is a beautiful glass tip.

In many other fountain pens, nibs are made of metal with plastic. In the WINKpen, the nib is made of a glass with carefully etched “veins” where the ink flows towards the paper surface. The result is a beautiful pen that writes well and worth some showing off. The glass nib is also two-sided; one end works for daily writing and the opposite end for calligraphy.

The WINKpen (“WINK” from “WIne as INk”) has a more environmentally-conscious origin. Industrial designer Jessica Chan was on a project tackling the non-biodegradable inks used in many inkjet printers. The project first gave her an idea to use alternative inks and eventually develop the WINKpen.
