Pomegranate and Grape Smoothie

Breakfast in a glass!


  • 2 ripe pomegranates
  • 175 g seedless green grapes
  • 6 fresh or dried dates, stoned
  • 300 ml orange juice
  • 2—3 crushed cardamom pods
  • 4 ice cubes


  1. Cut the pomegranates in half and scoop out the seeds into a blender. Add the grapes with the dates, the orange juice,crushed cardamom pods and ice cubes. Whizz in a blender for 1—2 minutes or until smooth. If a smooth texture is preferred, pass through a nylon sieve to remove the pomegranate seeds. Pour into glasses and serve.
