Pop in for the next ‘On Invitation’ Pop-up Restaurant event at Steenberg

We kicked off with the first of our six ‘On Invitation’ Pop-up Restaurant events last month, when celebrated Chef Chris Erasmus of Pierneef á La Motte in Franschhoek served up a surprise feast to the delight of guests attending. Our next pop-up event for adventurous food lovers, takes place on Wednesday 26 June, when Chef-Patron Henry Vigar of La Mouette Restaurant in Sea Point, will be revealing his bespoke menu that will no doubt reflect his penchant for modern French cuisine with a distinctly Mediterranean flair. Our own Chef Brad Ball of Bistro Sixteen8 will be co-hosting the event, so you can look forward to a top quality ‘pop-up’ feast peppered with fascinating conversation.

On Invitation’ takes the form of a 5-Course Menu, with each dish perfectly matched with wines from our vineyards. Menus will only be revealed, dish by tantalizing dish, during each event. R425 secures your seat around the long Chef’s Table in the private dining room of our winery, and, with only 18 places available, pre-booking is essential. Look out for the next one on Wednesday 31 July.  Chefs will be confirmed a month in advance via our Facebook and Twitter platforms.
