Now in its fourth year, the popular PPA ‘Tread Lightly’ Women’s MTB has grown to our biggest all-female off-road event. For novices, the event offers a friendly, non-technical introduction to off-road cycling, while the more experienced cyclist will get a good workout on the long route.

ROUTE DESCRIPTION

35 km: The long route is aimed at fit, fairly experienced cyclists and includes some technical sections and fast downhills. Be ready for a long uphill slog within the first 12 km. This is NOT a route for a novice or unfit cyclist.

15 km:  The medium route is aimed at fit novice riders. It cuts out the steepest climbs of the 35 route but still shares the first major climb with the long route. No u/12’s, sorry.

5 km: The short route is fairly flat and mainly meanders around the lower part of the far . It is aimed specifically at novice riders and does not include any single track. Men are allowed to enter the 5 km if they are accompanied at all times by a child u/12 who will ride with Dad to make sure he is okay.

DIRECTIONS TO VENUE
