If you, like many other South Africans, find yourself in front of the stove in the dark, night after night, you`re probably unlucky enough to experience the 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. load shedding session.
Harvest was early this year, earliest in 40 years in South Africa! So on top of an early wake up call, the grapes rushed in at top speed as the heat gained momentum on the Cape over February and March.
We caught up with winemaker Anthony de Jager for the latest news on this year’s harvest:
