Le Coin Français’ Executive Chef, Darren Badenhorst, will get the opportunity to showcase his culinary skills this week at the fourth annual Goût de France (Good France) week which takes place during 19 to 25 March.

 

Ryan Puttick, the new winemaker taking charge of the engine room at The Franschhoek Cellar, grew up on a crop farm near Hartswater, Northern Cape.

 

The wine industry was abuzz recently with the launch of the Platter’s by Diners Club South African Wine Guide 2018, which was also used to announce the highly anticipated 5-star rated wines. Franschhoek Vignerons did not disappoint, with a total of six producers receiving the prestigious rating.

 

The award-winning Foliage Restaurant has reaffirmed its position as one of South Africa’s top restaurants. The list of Top 10 Best Fine Dining Establishments, as voted for by TripAdvisor travelers, placed the restaurant in 5th position in the top restaurants in South Africa. In the Africa listing Foliage was placed in 6th position.
