A Highland firm’s sales of single malt were hit by a whisky tariff in America last year.

 

An innovative project by Tomatin takes whisky connoisseurs to France to enjoy their French Collection from the comfort of their own homes.

 

Getting great value for your dollar can be more difficult in the world of single malt scotch than it is with bourbon, but here are some excellent bottles under $50.

 

Tomatin, a distillery in Scotland, has debuted the new French Collection, a series of Scotch single malts finished in a range of different types of French wine and spirit casks.

 

The prestigious awards gave recognition to many local distilleries, including Tomatin and Fettercairn.
