Uva Mira Mountain Vineyards nestle against the Helderberg Mountain Range in Stellenbosch and forms part of the Golden Triangle, an area well known for noble grape varietals, especially Cabernet Sauvignon. Our position at altitude with vineyards as high as 620 metres above sea level creates the climate for wines that are elegant in style.

Uva Mira Mountain Vineyards, as high as 620 metres above sea level on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain Range, nestles against the Helderberg Nature Reserve. With breathtaking views over False Bay and Table Bay, often wrapped in clouds, a cool climate, sea breezes, a granite foundation and strong minerality of the soil, enhanced by acres of fynbos… nature does her work.

The Uva Mira Sauvignon Blanc vines are planted on the highest vineyards on the Estate, on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain range, facing False Bay. The early morning sea breezes cool the vines, which contributes to the superb natural acidity and freshness in the wine. Decomposed granite soils contribute to the minerality on the palate.
