Start your weekend on a luxurious note with an exclusive tasting experience of Pongrácz and fine, handmade chocolates at the Val de Vie Estate Night Market near Paarl on Friday, 30 May.
Held from 18h00 to 22h00, visitors can indulge in three specially fashioned chocolates custom-made to bring out the unique flavour profile of Pongrácz Brut, Pongrácz Rosé and the award winning Desiderius 2008.
Begin your tasting with the flirtatious and lively Pongrácz Rosé paired with a delicate Rose Geranium milk chocolate, followed by the crisp Pongrácz Brut and a velvety Roasted Almond and Lime white chocolate. An enticing Hot Plum white chocolate matched with the signature prestige cuvée, Desiderius 2008, will be absolute heaven for your taste buds.
The Pongrácz and chocolate pairing costs R50 per person. Entrance to the market is free and the evening’s activities include a live band, food stalls and a children entertainment area.
