The 2014 ‘Tri Nations’ vintage report – Australia, New Zealand and South Africa

While New Zealand’s crush has been bountiful in terms of quality and quantity, reaching its overall harvest record with around 400 000 tons, Australia’s more ‘difficult vintage’ yielded high-quality grapes from lower crop levels compared to previous vintages.

South Africa experienced a challenging 2014, with a more than welcome measure of rain during the ripening season.
