We’ve sourced fruit from throughout the Western Cape, focusing on those vineyards that produce outstanding quality and reflect regional-ity. The resulting wines show greater fruit purity, better structure, elegance and finesse.”

Marco Ventrella, Viticulturalist at KWV, added; “We are sourcing a lot of fruit from Darling for our wines. This region is playing a significant role in our stylistic journey, as demonstrated in this year’s new vintage releases.”

The tasting menu Luke Dale Roberts prepared to be paired with a selection form the rage, was out of this world. A standout dish was the Tuna sashimi, baby cos lettuce, miso cured quail egg and toasted garlic dressing, paired with the Vedelho 2013 – a very interesting wine.
