Steenberg Vineyards holds the distinction of being the oldest farm in the picturesque Constantia Valley, which is generally considered to be South Africa’s premier wine growing region. With its cool, sea-facing slopes and majestic granite ridges, this vineyard has developed a worldwide reputation for producing excellent Cape wines. Red or white? Steenberg is synonymous with cool-climate style white wines; and delicious bubbles. We also produce some very elegant red wines (Nebbiolo; Merlot; Shiraz and red blends).

Food or drink? Taste through the wine range in the tasting room and then join us for lunch or dinner at either Bistro1682, their relaxed seasonal restaurant, or at Catharina’s for elegant fine dining both situated on the property. You can also stay over at the Steenberg Hotel, their luxurious 5 star boutique hotel, or play a round of golf on the championship 18-hole golf course.
