Klein Constantia launches first Pinot Noir

Klein Constantia is proud to announce the launch of its first Pinot Noir since 2006. Previously made from grapes grown on the historic farm in Constantia, the new wine comes from two of the Cape’s best pinot noir regions, Elgin and Hemel-en-Aarde, and joins the KC range of more approachable, easy-drinking wines.
“Our aim with the KC Pinot Noir is to showcase the true beauty of the cultivar whilst not over complicating it,” says winemaker Matthew Day. “In order to do this, we have sourced grapes from first-crop organic vineyards in Elgin and Hemel & Aarde, each bringing its own unique character to the wine – Elgin showing light red fruit and Hemel & Aarde a more rich and complex character.”
