This year wine lovers once again put their palates to the test at the South African Wine Tasting Championships. Participants gathered at the Hilton Hotel on the 2nd of August to taste 50 wines, after which they entered the blind tasting arena where they were asked to identify 10 of the wines from the selection. The 2014 competition winners were announced this week and the top five will represent South Africa at the World Wine Tasting Championships in France later in the year.
