Wine Cellar is delighted to announce that we are involved in the 2015 Cape Wine Auction with a ‘Young Guns’ lot. Each year the auction raises money for education in the Cape winelands, and the 2015 event will take place on the 13th and 14th of February at Boschendal Estate.
Since Wine Cellar first introduced the Young Guns concept in 2011, our annual tastings have become a platform for emerging talent. One of the most exciting and irreverent events of the year, Young Guns is a chance to peer into the future of SA wine. (Find out more.)
The Cape Wine Auction Young Guns lot comprises a 90-bottle collection of wine from past Young Gunners such as Chris Alheit, Peter-Allan Finlayson, John Seccombe & Marelise Van Rensburg, along with other highlights from the first 4 tastings. It also includes a barefoot sunset beach tasting and seafood braai, as well as 8 tickets to our Young Guns 2015 tastings in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
