To celebrate the glorious nature of summer, More Than Food has teamed up with The Black Bar to give you our very own easy and delicious recipe AND one of two bottles of Black Bottle Whisky.
The Zesty Summer Smash

Glass
Snifter
Garnish
Orange slices, pineapple pieces and maraschino cherries
Toothpick or sosatie stick broken in half

 
Ingredients

 
2 tots Black Bottle Whisky
3 tots Pineapple juice
1 tot Freshly squeezed lemon juice
Cranberry juice
3 Slices of orange peel – remove the white stuff
Crushed ice
Method
Fill half the glass with crushed ice and maraschino cherries and the orange peels.

Combine the whiskey and pineapple juice in a cocktail shaker. Add the squeeze of lemon juice.
Fill with ice, cover and shake until outside of shaker is frosty – about 30 seconds.

Strain into the glass and top up with cranberry juice.

Mound more crushed ice on top.
Garnish with the fruity toothpick and enjoy the rest of summer!
