Hamilton Russell wines continue to perform well internationally, with Wine Searcher naming the 2012 Chardonnay among their favourites under $45.

“From a good vintage, the 2012 was rated by three critics very highly, and the even better 2013 vintage has scored an equally high 93 points from the Wine Spectator.”

Other South African wines to make the list include the Meerlust Rubicon 2007, along with Ernie Els’s Proprietor’s Blend.
