An Opportunity to taste some treasures from the Hungarian wine cellars

Opportunity to taste some treasures from the Hungarian wine cellars

For the wine lovers, some real curiosity will arrive to our country with the Hungarian Wine Roadshow 2.

You can bargain for some wine tastings with professional conversations, if you visit one of the locations of the second time organized wine tour.

The diversity of the 22 Hungarian wine regions manifested in the different kind of wines. We could get to know 10 wine specialties that we can’t taste elsewhere, only during the Roadshow. We will present white and red wines and also some secrets and legends about the Hungarian wine cultures and traditions.

Hungarian wines are also unique because it is located at the heart of Europe in the Carpathian Basin. The Carpathian Basin is a very important agricultural region, its loess covered soil is very prolific. The special grape types like the Tokaji, Hárslevelű, Furmint, are different from the more eastern ones. Thanks for the different solar access, the ripening time of the grapes is longer and the precipitation is also more than in the eastern countries.

Hungarian Wines are especially healthy! From healthy aspects, they are very strictly controlled; they don’t contain any GMO ingredients and the wine makers only use organic fertilizers and pesticides that are not harmful to the human health. We can found some traditional wooden barrel method made and bio wines in the special wine selection.

If you took a fancy, you can join to the Hungarian Wine Roadshow 2/2015 between the 1st and the 14th of July at New York, Los Angeles or San Francisco.
