You are cordially invited to attend the Inaugural Garagiste Movement Garagiste Challenge with Neil Pendock on 5 August 2015. Please refer to the attached save the date.
The competition is being presented in conjunction with Neil Pendock – for our Garagiste Movement Members.
The format is a sighted tasting by the judges. Each producer will have the opportunity to interact with the judges, present their wine and tell their story. Each judge must select his / her favourite wine. There will be a total of 7 judges. The 8th judge will be the public and media/press attending the event. Hence the Top 8 wines will be selected on the evening. The judges will announce the Top 8 wines and give their reasons / opinions thereof. The Top 8 wines will be paired with scrumptious dishes at the annual Gala-evening of the Garagiste Movement on a different date. The Top 8 wines will also further be blind tasted by the judges – without the public or media at a later date, before the Gala-evening. Here the Top Red and the Top White wine will be selected for the 2015 Garagiste Challenge. The Top Red and the Top White wine will be announced at the Gala-evening.
