Looking for an office party or team building event with a difference? Then go to the 7 th Floor of the Innovation Centre in Observatory and find a man called Matt Manning, he has a wonderful solution for you and your team.

One Ingredient is an interactive dining experience like no other in Cape Town. One special ingredient is selected by Matt and used to create a five course taste bud rollercoaster, showing just how versatile one ingredient can be!

Matt cooked in some of London’s top eateries such as Michelin-starred Pétrus and was mentored by some of the best chefs in the world, including Gordon Ramsay and now it’s his turn to teach you! Don’t worry, we aren’t throwing you into a South African Hell’s Kitchen, Matt only picked up Ramsay’s cooking skills. After enjoying canapés and a welcome drink guests are served an amuse bouche and carefully pared wine from a local wine estate. Matt then treats you to a 2 course live cooking demonstration to inspire your inner chef.  You and your team are then challenged to recreate the dishes under Matt’s watchful eye. Now the bit you’ve been waiting for – tucking in with some well-deserved wine and great company! After dessert Matt will present the team who created the best-plated dish of the evening with a special gift (unfortunately it’s not him). You may not know which ingredient Matt is going to choose, but the one ingredient you can be sure is always cooked up? Fun.
