As a Cape curtain of winter rain descends on the skiereiland, our RECM best value judges are looking forward to tasting four dozen white blends and niche cultivars at the Pendock Wine Gallery @ Taj later today. We test drove our own Lemoenfontein Cape Portuguese blend of Chenin Blanc, Bukettraube and Verdelho at Orinoco with Alsatian winemaker Julien Schaal yesterday.

So come along to the Taj this afternoon between five and seven for a blast of elegance and finesse as the wines are opened for public tasting and enjoyment.
