Brosé arrives, with a bang

An interesting question is posed in the Guardian this morning, just in time to boost entries for Clare Mack’s Rosé Rocks competition. “Is it possible that marketers are reaping what they sowed when they unimaginatively pitched pink wine exclusively to women?” For it seems that “men in England are opting for rosé over beer.”

In New York, beer is not on the menu and it appears that young men are “pounding pink” which sounds deliciously sexual and utterly debauched. I’ll have to head on down to hipster heaven AKA The House of Machines and see if there are any rosés nestling among the chest hairs. Who knows, it may indeed be true that drinking rosé will not emasculate heterosexual men.
